With over 700 employees in three continents, this family-run medium-sized company from the south of Germany is a leading supplier of solutions in the field of electric heat, air conditioning and electronics. Its equipment and components help several industries to achieve a more efficient use of energy. Having set up a new branch in Jiangsu Province in addition to the already existing Asian ones in Hong Kong, Chongqing and Shanghai with about 100 employees in total, it is now looking for a motivated Director Sales and Marketing ITM Asia.

Job description
  • Full responsible for industrial sales activities in Asia
  • Sales focus: Drive market exposure by searching and implementing strategic long-term collaborations with key players and partners in the market
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments
  • Representation of company towards main business partners and institutions

Candidates
Local Chinese

Qualifications
  • Business and Engineering degree or other relevant
  • Several years of sales experience in a China located industrial company, preferred subsidiary of medium-sized, internationally operating group
  • Practical experience of Chinese and European culture, culturally sensitive
  • Strong background in B2B business, especially industrial.
  • Good methodical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate market trends and specific growth opportunities
  • Result-oriented
  • Chinese as mother tongue, fluent English; additional German language ability welcome
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (e.g., negotiation, listening and communication skills)
  • Willing to work in Changshu and live nearby
  • Willing to travel internationally
